Palanikumar Arumugam holds a post-graduate degree in Information Technology and also holds Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) and Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) certifications. He is a seasoned InfoTech leader with two decades of experience in Software Development, Applications and Network Infrastructure Management, Information Security, Digitalisation, Automation, Data Privacy, and the corresponding Compliances and Audits.

Prior to Shiksha Finance, he has worked with Veritas Finance and Equitas Small Finance Bank. He has experience in multiple industry segments with a long stint in the Financial Services Industry, specifically in the domains of Micro Finance, NBFC, and Banking Technologies. He has been instrumental in setting up the new generation of Information Technology Systems and Hardware Infrastructure at Shiksha Finance.
