Mr.Bhagirath Iyer has over 20 years of experience in the financial services space, with a focus on financing for the social sector. He was one of the founding members of Northern Arc Capital (formerly, IFMR Capital), where he structured and arranged investments in microfinance asset pools as well as other emerging asset classes including MSME loans and affordable housing finance. Prior to joining Shiksha Finance, he was with CreditAccess Life Insurance and Kaleidofin Capital. Previously, he has worked with Access Microfinance Holdings in Berlin, Germany.

He holds a master’s degree in public administration from Columbia University, New York and an MBA from Institute of Rural Management, Anand.

At Shiksha Finance, as the Head Treasury and Strategies, he is responsible for overall fundraising, liquidity planning & management and investor relations.
